Ok, so I bought an ocean kayak scrambler xt angler edition on sale at dicks sporting goods for 399 last summer. After various attemps to make a rudder I have come to the conclusion it may be easier to just fork out the money for one. My only problem is how the rear end of the kayak is. Anyone do this before or have any suggestions?
Also as far as the sail goes I can get it to work pretty well via using a Flag pole holder as a mast step. But my main problem is side to side movement in swells out in the bay. (not huge swells, but its out in the delaware bay) Any suggestions tips links ideas would be greatly appreciated!
well the kayak its self isn't rolling, its the actual mast pole swaying back and forth because all I have is a front and back stay.
